Learn more about Hardyston Township Elementary School.
The Hardyston School District, together with our parents, families and community is dedicated to preparing our students for the 21st Century by providing each student with a quality education, in a safe and caring environment, which allows all students to achieve the New Jersey State Learning Standards at all grade levels and includes the knowledge, confidence, and self-esteem to be successful lifelong learners in a culturally diverse democracy.
Grade 3-8 students received their own Chromebook and had the opportunity to use it in every class, every day. In addition, the schools continued to use Star 360 assessments in ELA and Math so every student would have several benchmarks throughout the year. Curricular programs include Art, Music, Family and Consumer Science, World Language, and Information Literacy.
Gymnastics (Coed)
The YMCA has before and after school child care in the elementary school. Parents are offered this child care service convenience for a fee, made payable to the YMCA.
The elementary school is complete with internal and external cameras, and is tied into the police department. The school was also outfitted with card swipe technology to limit entry.
The media center hosts a variety of STEM based enrichment activities and programs for all students throughout the year.
