The Character Education Partnership (C.E.P) of Washington D.C. and the New Jersey Alliance for Social and Emotional Development (N.J.A.S.C.D.) recognized Hanover Park and our district as both a State and National District of Character. Hanover Park has also won multiple Promising Practice awards from the C.E.P. The Anti-Defamation League again name Hanover Park High School as a No Place For Hate for the fifth consecutive year with the prestigious Gold Star designation.

The mission of Hanover Park High School is to educate and prepare every student for success in college, career and life. Our school community encourages and guides students to lead productive, successful lives and to become responsible 21st century citizens. Our unique and multi-faceted approach ensures personalized attention to address students' needs while empowering them to realize their full potential.
Hanover Park High School offers a robust selection of courses that include 25 advanced placement courses, multiple dual credit courses wherein students can earn college credit from Seton Hall University Project Acceleration Program, Fairleigh Dickinson University Middle College Program, Rutgers University Healthcare Program, and County College of Morris, and an array of elective courses that range from Genocide Studies and Java Programming to Pre-Engineering & Robotics and Forensic Science.

Our school provides our students with an excellent Child Study Team that works to provide support to our students with special needs. Additionally, our exceptional Guidance Department works diligently to support our students through scheduling and the college application process. Our Child Study Team and our Guidance Department also support the social-emotional needs of our students and work together helping students through our Intervention and Referral Services.
Multiple Booster Clubs support both individual sports programs as well as extra-curricular groups such as the Theater and the Band programs at Hanover Park. Strong parental involvement in the Hanover Park PTO supports the total school program. Additionally, our parents are invited to many evening college planning nights, a college fair, and roundtable discussions with our administrators. Our school also shares an excellent relationship with the East Hanover Township Municipal Alliance and Office of Emergency Management which provides our school with many resources such as sponsoring guest speakers for our students.
Hanover Park's STEAM program offerings include courses such as CADD 1, CADD 2, Robotics & Engineering, JAVA programming, AP Computer Science A, AP Computer Science Principles, Graphic Design, AP Studio Art: 2D Design, & Introduction to Digital Video.
