Shared-time programs are offered to 10th, 11th and 12th grade students from school districts in Mercer County. Students enrolled in shared-time programs spend half of their school day at their home high school and half of their day participating in a career and technical education program of their choice at the Mercer County Technical School District. Language Arts, Math and Science content standards are embedded in each program. In addition, teachers are engaged in continuous school improvement through a partnership with High Schools That Work and Technology Centers That Work to integrate literacy and numeracy across the curriculum.
In September 2015, the Mercer County Technical School District launched a full-time, 4-year STEM Academy on the West Windsor Campus of Mercer County Community College. The STEM Academy delivers academically challenging and rigorous curriculum including Project Lead The Way, an activity-, project-, and problem-based curriculum.
A Career Prep program for 12th graders is offered in partnership with Mercer County Community College on a shared-time basis.
