Mission

The mission of the Willingboro High School is commensurate with the mission of Willingboro Public School District; to successfully educate all students through high expectations, a commitment to excellence, and equal access to a comprehensive educational program, emphasizing the belief that all students will learn and become responsible, probelm solving an, self sustaining and contributing members of society.

Willingboro High School implements the following instructional & curriculum programs: Implementation of Eureka Math curriculum; Implementation of Engage NY curriculum; Common Planning time for all content areas; Advanced Placements Options; Online Elective Options; Partnerships with Rowan University at Burlington County; Partnerships with Student Centered Community Organizations

Before and After school services are provided by 'Making Visions Possible'; a third party partnership housed within the school to provide social, emotional and academic support to the student body. Services include tutoring, College Tours, Job Readiness; STEM projects; Student support groups and Mental health services.

Willingboro High School participates in the National School Lunch Program, a federally assisted meal program which provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free breakfast and lunch to children each school day. Health and Physical Education is mandatory for all students.

Parents

Parent/Community involvement includes: Access to the Parent Portal via Genesis and website updates. Active Parent Teacher and Student Association; Parent Back to School Night; Participation in the Burlington County Juvenile Delinquency Prevention Committee and various other events. Prtnership with Red Cross conducting 2 blood drives per year which yield donations specifically geared for African Americans receipents with Sickle Cell; Partnership with Faith in Action Youth Advocacy Organitzation; Partnership with Pennies For Patients Leukimia Awareness.

Facilities

The building was constructed in 1975 and measures 227,623 sq. ft. In 2014, renovation were made to windows, HVAC, boiler replacement, toilet rooms, interior doors, air conditioning of main office, all classrooms and cafeteria. Also, the bathrooms, science Labs, cafeteria and auditorium were recent upgraded. In 2019 the air conditioning chiller tower was replaced.
